In the new year, the European ETA directly with the Timber Research Institute
/0 Comments/in News /by Ivana DuchoňováThe Timber Research Institute has newly been authorised to issue ETA documents for the assessment of construction products in the woodworking industry with sales in the European Union markets.
Direct cooperation with the Timber Research Institute therefore enables manufacturers to draw up declarations of performance and obtain the CE mark for their products.
Auditors can assess and also carry out regular surveillance of the production management system in system 1, 2+ according to Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Invitation to the conference ČKAIT with Metrostav – Quality of Civil Engineering

In the 4th block from 1 p.m, the lecture will be given by Mr. Ing. Marek Polášek, Ph.D. from the Timber Research Institute on the topic Wood-based products.

Invitation to the conference ČKLOP – WINDOWS & DOORS 2021
/0 Comments/in News /by Ivana DuchoňováThe first edition of the ČKLOP – WINDOWS & DOORS conference was supposed to take place in the autumn of 2020. Due to the situation, it has been postponed to this September on 16 September 2021 at 10 a.m. The event has a sub-theme of Legislation and Practice – News and Changes for 2021.
The expert programme will include presentations by experts from the Timber Research Institute. The lecture “The road to trouble and back again” will be given by Ing. Marek Polášek, PhD. and “How to know the quality of the surface finish of wooden windows” will be explained by the head of the laboratory, Ing. Anna Součková.
